A factory located in Angers in Maine-et-Loire has been selected to develop a European supercomputer dedicated to artificial intelligence. This ambitious project, known as LUMI-AI, is based on a contract worth 387.8 million euros, aimed at propelling European scientific research. The machine will be assembled in Angers before being delivered to the city of Kajaani, Finland, in the second half of 2027.
